Philip Seastrom

Growing up under the warm Southern Californian sun Philip Seastrom and his twin brother Alex knew from a young age they wanted to share California’s beauty with the world. To Philip California surfing has always represented the splendor of youth. Having grown tired of the stale surf fashion of the 2000s Philip decided to set out for a change and start his own fashion line, to capture the excitement and fun surf wear was missing. Philip majored in Apparel Manufacturing Management at the Fashion Institute of Design of Merchandise in Los Angeles.

After graduation Philip and his twin brother Alex founded Mowgli Surf. Creating the most fun and innovative surf wear in the market place, Mowgli Surf has become a chief taste maker. Under Philip’s guidance Mowgli is one of the most sought after up and coming young men’s brand in California. With the goal of becoming the leading brand in surf wear there is no stopping Mowgli with Philip at the helm.

Alex Seastrom

Fashion designer and entrepreneur Alex Seastrom demands a revolution! Down with the tired and boring surf fashion labels of today! For the surf wear industry to recapture the imagination of the youth of America bold design and color are integral. A third generation Californian Alex grew up in a state where it is forever summer, and wanted to share it with the rest of the world. Seeking a change Alex received his education in Apparel Manufacturing Management at the Fashion Institute of Design of Merchandise in Los Angeles.

After gradation Alex used his love of surfing and clothing to start Mowgli Surf with his twin brother Philip. Starting out from nothing as a grass roots brand in Southern California’s coolest surf shops, Mowgli has now become a favorite of the style inclined. Now a staple in Urban Outfitters Without Walls, Tillys, and hip girl favorite Nasty Gal Mowgli is on its way to the top!
